Mr Ouk Sokha’s Story

When Sokha was thinking of buying an ATEC biodigester system, he requested for an MFI loan. He soon found himself confused over the complicated loan process.

That was until he heard about ATEC’s PAYGO programme which was an easier and more affordable way to acquire his family’s own biodigester.

It has been six months since Sokha started using ATEC’s biodigester and he has noticed the benefits. “Since I don’t need to collect wood for cooking anymore, we have no more smoke in the kitchen and our pots are no longer black,” he said.

Mr Phan Sam Oeun’s story

Sam Oeun realized the benefits and ease of using ATEC’s biodigester when he first saw it being used at his brother’s home.

“As a farmer, I was especially interested in organic fertiliser. By using the fertiliser, we managed to get twice the crop yield as compared to last year,” he said.

But Sam Oeun’s family could not have bought a system for themselves without ATEC’s PAYGO programme. “PAYGO was a blessing since our family does not have much money. Now we all contribute to the payments and pay the system off together,” he said.
